Selling yourself to Vegas?

So a local casino has offered me a 4 night stay package for $99 that includes a $25 gaming and meal voucher. Let's say I would rather go to Vegas but want the same deal. Is it possible to call a resort in Vegas and tell them my story and they will match it to get my business? The casino is Mohegan Sun in Connecticut and the rooms are very nice. Any ideas or suggestions? FYI: I am a small time gambler and my rate of play is minimal at Mohegan Sun.
Shoedogbob- I say give it a try. Let us know your results.
It cant hurt to try, but I would suspect you will probably get responses from hosts that would offer you a casino rate and "we'll take a look at your play at the end of your stay and see what can be comped". Any history with a Vegas casino, that you might try?
Sounds like you have a good deal at Mohegan Sun for a "minimal rate of play".
Well if it isn't Shoedogbob...long time no post! To the point, it never hurts to ask!

But don't tell them you are a small time gambler, etc.

Say, "I get great offers from Mohegan Sun, and love the place, but wife (partner, kid, dog) wants to change things up a little and try Vegas, but only if you can BEAT the offer we have now."

Let them reel YOU in. Try them all, MGM, CE, M, Southpoint, take all offers, then keep the best and cull the rest.

Good luck!
I'd brag a little bit about how much action you give. They can't prove it one way or the other. Might get you the same stay in Vegas!

That sounds like a great way to approach it. If I ever find myself in a similar situation, it's the way I'll do it.

They will likely offer you a "casino rate" then review your play at check-out to consider comping off the room charges.

I've worked it in the exact opposite, getting CT comps (room, show, food, etc) via communicating a slightly embellished Vegas history.

"I don't see why ..... blah, blah, blah, ..... when the blah Hotel in Vegas gives me yada, yada, yada ......."
