A semi-personal question for Double D (Don Diego)

Have you ever tried or used a washlet?

Washlets

I've used some fancy ones in Japan. Awesome!!
That sure is a strange way to brush your teeth!
Is it warm water at least?

There is warm water if you buy the product that has warm water capabilities and you have an electrical outlet or hot water spigot next to your toilet. Otherwise, no.

There are quite a few of these out there, some for less than $100. I believe this is a relatively new one to the market:

$59 for the basic version, (cold water), $84 for the "warm and cool Tushy noir".

I believe these just hook into your toilet fill valve so they are relatively easy to install.

More complex versions have things such as seat warmers, and while I have not looked at the prices of those I seem to recall they run in the $300-$400 range.

The whole thing kind of makes sense to me... especially if you have a septic system and would rather not have it filled with paper.

No, . . . to both questions. He supposes if he had tried to use one, he'd've used it effectively.

When shopping for a house some years ago DonDiego encountered a bidet with some of the same features in one of the houses he was considering. The problem, . . . the fixture was located in the master bedroom, . . . not the master bathroom, the master bedroom, . . . visible to anyone in the room. It seemed a bit too kinky to poor old DonDiego.

But, . . . Holy-Moly ! This Toto Washlet is amazing, . . . automatic lid, heated seat, front cleanse, rear cleanse AND a dryer !
And warm water ! And all sorts of different patterns for the sprays.
(DonDiego isn't sure about using the "pre-mist" function, that might be carrying things a bit too far.)
Oh, . . . and did DonDiego mention the dryer !

This thing is simply F-A-B-U-L-O-U-S !

DonDiego thanks Roulette Man for bringing this invention to his attention.

[Incidentally, Toto apparently makes a more expensive model which includes "urine temperature measurement and analysis", a Body Mass Indicator, blood sugar and blood pressure monitor, and a weight-scale. It is networked to one's PC on which it organizes all the measurements into all sorts of charts and graphs.]
