Sen. Lindsey Graham is giving a little help to his friend — Republican mega donor Sheldon Adelson.
Graham is expected to introduce a bill to ban Internet gambling as soon as next week, according to sources working on the issue.

I would hope that the bill is put up for to be voted on alone. I don't want it added to an anti-terrorism bill or something that isn't related.

I have no problem with internet gambling. Personally I would not have complete faith or trust in an honest game being offered on-line, whether it be casino games or on-line poker.
Online gambling ranks right up their with cruise ship gambling in my book. Who do you go to if there is a problem or if you think the house ripped you off? I know who the authorities are in Nevada. I don't know who they are for some website hosted in a garage in Bermuda .

pjstroh is right. Don't know who you're playing with on the internet.

I can tell you who you are playing with if you are playing online poker. You are playing against someone who tracks your every move and every play. They watch every single hand you are in and compile all of that info in a personal database to use it against you. And then they will even sell that information to other players.

I do not call that poker. Maybe I AM old.
Definitely with the majority, I wouldn't trust any online game to be 100% honest and personally would never play.

Sounds a little like an LVA Forum.

Google collects way more information about you than that if you use any of their products, and it is very hard to avoid them if you use the Internet. Plus they very aggressively pimp you out.

That's likely to be the case as the casinos lose money when people gamble on-line. I wonder how they feel about all of the casinos/racinos poping up all over the place???

Btw, looks like Full Tilt is finally paying back some of that $300mil to players. I get a whopping $4.00
