Being a caretaker for a loved one that you don't like is an emotional roller coaster.

Not for me to judge. In the same situation, God forbid, I'd hope that I'd handle it better than Bags.

I hope Shar did indeed check into rehab.

And rehab helps her.

Diane I agree. Its seems to me like he is more worried about the skank ho getting into rehab than his sick girlfriend.

I am sorry even if Faye wants to go to Vegas you need to put your foot down and take care of her. Vegas can wait.

So now it winds up I'm going to Vegas alone. Got the news from her son that she won't be going. I have to go since it's my comps that they are counting on to get the free rooms. It just won't be the same staying in a suite without her there. But that's her choice. Anyone want to go to Vegas> LOL! Going to feel strange being there all alone. I'll leave about 4am to get there in time for the NFL games. If she feels up to it, I'll just drive back and get her so she can be with her family.That's what this is all about, her family. She wants to be with them for TG. Believe me, if she could be there, she would be, just to be with them. I really don't count as far as she looks at it. And to tell the truth, if Sharlene wasn't in rehab, I know who I would be taking with me. Think anything you want about me, but she brings pleasure into my life. Call her anything you want, but like I told my daughter and son, she makes me happy, and I just don't mean sexually. It's fun to be with her. I've also had great luck when she's been with me. But it's really going to be strange being there without Faye.

Why not drive her family to her for TG, if that's what "this is all about"?

So Faye is in a hospital...bleeding somewhere internally but it is unknown where...and her family is going to Vegas and not San Diego to be with her? And you are going to Vegas with her in this condition?

If Faye is that sick and in the hospital ....... why are her kids going to Vegas instead of the hospital ? Why wouldn't they plan to spend Thanksgiving with their mother wherever she is ? They could borrow your car to make the drive or you could go all together.

That's the way she wants it. If they decide to drive to SD then so be it. I really have no say in the matter.

Snidely - I think you, and most of the population, would handle it miles better than him! What Bagiant is doing cannot be considered "caring" for a "loved" one - no matter what their current relationship is.
As someone who has looked after a loved one in need of significant care over many years, I can't begin to fathom what kind of warped thought process would have him continue obsessing about how/when to get together with Shar the hooker while he is supposedly "worrying" about Faye. Unless he isn't really worried at all. After all, he has often stated before that he finds her to be an inconvenience in his life when he has had to assist her due to her health issues.
