Sharlene Is MIA!

I checked her into Harrah's today , and naturally she was late coming down from LA. We played for a while before going up to the room. Damn is this woman good! Leaves me totally exhausted after a session. She doesn't like it to be called that, but what do I care.

After I left, she took a long bubble bath in Harrah's large tub, and she said she put too much bubble bath in the tub and the bubbles were almost reaching the ceiling. Leave it to Sharlene. I just spoke to her a few minutes ago, and she was getting ready to go to sleep. I'd say, "Go to bed" but there'd be too many wise cracks!

I might join her there tomorrow morning before I go to work, but Faye is suspicious enough, already accusing me of having put her up at Harrah's. How do women know these things? It's like she's reading my mind.

Couldn't get on 4 oak while I played there. Paytables really suck as they pay 6/5 on Bonus Poker.

Tomorrow we have to decide what to do with her truck and where to store it while she's in rehab. Her friend in LA has a storage bin in Valley Center where Harrah's is located, and she might leave it there. Problem is, then I'm stuck with her for the day which isn't going to work. Her Dad said he'd drive her to rehab, and her LA friend might take a train down to pick up her truck. But the truck still has to be smogged by the 18th, and I'm leaving for Vegas on the 19th. I have off on Friday as the courts are closed, but if I try to go anywhere, Faye would smell a "rat" and know I was seeing her. So I can't take her to rehab. What to do...what to do!!

It's going to be tough not seeing her for 3 months..if that's how long she'll be there, and I guess I can visit her like I did when she was in prison. Faye isn't going to like that one bit, but I think she's gotten accustomed to me seeing her on the sly. I just wish that Sharlene could move in with us, and she'd help Faye and have a place to live at the same time. But Faye isn't going to go for that even though it's probably the best for all parties. OK! Maybe 2 of the parties.

I'll tell you what takes place, as the soap opera continues. Aren't you glad you have this thread to replace your soap operas that are going off the air? 1200 views and counting. AC should put me on the payroll.

I stay with Faye because I have to. She can't go anywhere or do anything, so what am I to do? It's not like I don't love Faye, but she doesn't bring to the table what Star does. We'll see what happens after rehab. But I already know, things aren't going to change, much to my regret.
