Well, today I met her in court with her Dad and I got there just in time to see her public defender talking to the judge. I could see by the look on the judges face that things were going well. Sure enough, the public defender left the bench and we all went outside to see what the verdict was going to be.
He told her if she went to jail for 24 days....reduced to 10 with good behavior.....the judge would throw out all her probation and fines, and after time served she would be free as a bird....except for that Barstow problem......we all remember that one don't we? Once she clears that up after she gets out....she might even get her license back....although she has nothing to drive.
I guess she has to take one step at a time and get her life in order. The public defender didn't expect her to give herself up today and start her sentence and commended her for doing so. I just hope everything works out for her.
