I am trying for a repeat of a trip 2 years ago (with similar comps to this trip) that turned out to be a total freebee. ! made a small profit, just enough to cover my travel expenses (gas to airport, parking), tips, etc.
This trip is Sunday through Wednesday (4/24-4/27). Like 2 years ago, I have enough frequent flyer miles to snag a First class seat on a non-stop flight out of CVG on Delta. I wanted the first or second week in May, but was not able to get any dates in May or even June for the First class tickets with the miles I have, but did find dates next week, so…
My offer this trip is from the MGM group and applies to all their properties (expires June 30):
$300 freeplay
Comped suite for 3 nights
$200 food & beverage credit
2 comped tickets for any MGM Resorts Show (2 for 1 at Bellagio and Aria)
I originally wanted Monte Carlo, since I have never stayed there, but they didn’t have any suites available. Hazard of a short notice trip. I think Bellagio’s and possibly Aria’s casinos are a bit too pricey for me (table minimums too high). So I settled on Excalibur. I’ve enjoyed my stays there without ruining my bankroll.
I suppose I could have tried Mirage. Maybe next trip.
