Silver Sevens Hotel/Casino

Formerly, Terrible's (near the Hard Rock)...Has anyone stayed there before? How was it? How were the resturants? Would you let your little, old, gray haired grandma stay there? They seemed to be very reasonably prices with shuttles to the strip and airport. Them me what you think. Thanks!
"Let" her stay there? Yes.

There's only four shuttle runs to the Strip each day, however, probably should make sure she's comfortable nabbing a cab if need be.
I like the casino. Not a fan of the hotel. Read some reviews on Yelp! I read one on there that said someone cut through the window and robbed the room. Granted every hotel has bad things happen from time to time...it just seems like this place has them happen more frequently.
I'm always comped my RFB with some FP. The rooms are nothing to write home about I use the room for sleeping and playing with the missus. The eats are not the greatest, It's free and you can't complain if it's free. I play there because they have Lucky Ladies side bet. In short, it's a locals casino and it's not the Vegas experience most visitors expect.

Dumpy divey casino, the rooms cant be much better.
I used to love to play there when it was the Continental. Those were the days. Had a bartender call security on me because I was rooting against the team he was rooting for. They just made me leave his bar area and go to another bar. What a jerk!
Had the buffet there about 10 years ago. All the food was cold except the ice cream.

I haven't been in there in a couple of years and haven't stayed there in at least five. The rooms are Gold Coast size, but I always found them to be clean when I stayed there. I never stayed in the tower, but I would think they'd be a bit nicer. Gotta remember you're not paying strip prices.

I never liked the crowded casino. Whether on a table or a machine, there just didn't seem to be enough room. Bartops, of course were fine though.

Food was pretty cut and dried. The café used to have good food and decent specials. The buffet is a different story though. I used to say nobody could screw up breakfast until I had the breakfast buffet at Terribles. The old Surf Buffet from the Boardwalk lives on at the Silver Sevens!

Good Luck!
