IGT makes the machines.

The reason you don't see many of them around anymore is because IGT stopped their direct involvement in silver strikes a couple years ago. They used to offer the machines to casinos for a share of the profits on a contract basis, and they also worked directly with the token mints to provide the coins. When IGT discontinued their involvement, the casinos that still wanted to offer silver strike machines in their casinos had to buy the machines @$9000 each, and they are responsible for dealing with the token mints to make the coins.

Four Queens is the only one that I know of that still offers .999 silver coins, on about a 1:10 ratio to clads. The problem is that the $10 face value tokens actually costs the casino about $16 to purchase, so nobody else is willing to do anything other than clads, which cost around $6 each.
Thanks everyone. This points me in the right direction.

eBay is full of these things - depending on which hotel you're looking to get one from. Might be cheaper then dropping $50 in a machine in the hopes of getting one.
