Today was a of trnasition where we moved from Sam's Town to the Silverton. Anhhd what a transition it was. I can't believe how many things we took that weren't needed. So we started packing up the joint and it was a real chore. Amazing that they got everything on the cart that we brought. GEEZ! But down to the car it went and everything loaded up fine.

Took the back route to the Silverton, and we arrived there in under twenty minutes. Parked the car in the red zone and told the valet that I needed a bell man. Faye would supervise the unloading while I got the room. I already knew what room we had so there wouldn't be a problem getting things to the room. I checked in under 5 minutes, and went back out to the car which I assumed had been unloaded already. What the heck was going on? Nothing had been taken out of the car! This was BS and I asked the valet where the bellman was. Turns out they were hiding in their little cubby hole and hadn't come out to unload the car. I fixed that situation right away and the car wasw quickly unloaded.

When I first walkled into the casino, I couldn't believe how busy they were. I mean every single black jack table was filled as were the craps tables. It surely couldn't be just from San Gennaro. After all, if you came here for SG, you'd be out wherre the festivties were and not in a casino. Who knows, but the joint was jumping. I dropped her off at the Center Bar ans qwwent upstair with the bellman to drop off everything in the room. Screw unpackin now..it could wait until later. I was ready to gamble as we didn't put one dime in the ST machines before we left.

When I got back downstairs to join my honey, I noticed the 4 Aces were up to $449. It only took me 5 minutes to knock those suckers back down to $400. And this was going to be just the start of an incredible run that is still going on. I wound up hitting 5 more 4 OAK while she couldn't fight her way out of a paper bag.

But wouldn't you know it, she got dealt 3 to a royal , Kc, Jc, 10c, but instead of hitting the Ac, Qc, she wound up hitting the Qc, 9c for a straight flush. Better than a stick in the eye with a poke. I would soon follow with a SF of my own that ran from the 7d to the Jd. Her son and GF soon joined us at the bar. We had them scheduled to come in Friday but they asked if they could check in early. No problem.

Wind up is, that we went upstairs early...about 8;30, and I still had to call sheltie lover who was in town and staying at this point at Paris. I had cashed out $1200 ahead, and was pretty happy with the result. But Lord knows, when playing dollars, that could disappear in no time.

So I try and get on the internet to retrive shelties cell number and it tells me that all browsers are busy. How the heck could that happen? I tried over and over with the same result. I couldn't get my password if all browsers were busy. What the heck was Cox doing?

Wind up is, I finally got on at 2:30 am, and it turns out I was hitting the wrong number on the Menu button. #3 which I was hitting was for the wireless internet that worked off the TV. I needed to hit the #4 button to get the wireless connection for laptops. I sent a PM message to sheltie hoping that she'd see it in the morning. Turns out that she'd left a PM that she wouldn't have service in the morning. Oh well, guess I would just have to call her at 8 am and pray I didn't wake them up! Finally went back to sleep, planning to call sheltie at 8 am.
