Silverton rooms?

Just got a nice offer from Silverton for three nights, $100 FSP, free buffets and $25 dining credit. We usually stay at M, Red Rock or Aliante. How are the rooms now at Silverton? They used to be more of a motel quality, but the mailer we received has a nice photo with modern decor, very similar to M or RR. Are they all that way, so just a select few?

We enjoyed our play and treatment at the Silverton in August and might consider trying them this winter. I know Bags loves it there, but we won't get the suite treatment with our play. Anyone else stay recently who is a .25 VP player? We also play slots and either 3CP or PGP ($5 to $10 tables).
2 years ago was my last stay..shortly after the renovation. The beds are as comfortable as any I've slept on in Vegas. Room safe, fridge, and nice TV round out a nice selection of room amentities. The only drawback (for some) is the smallish bathroom with the sink outside. Doesn't bother me.
My wife and I have stayed there many times, and find it very comfortable. Get a king size bed, and you get a small sitting area with a love seat and coffee table. I have never seen a fridge in the room. The bathroom is small, but OK. I don't ever remember having the sink outside the bathroom. We just stayed there two weeks ago, and will be going back there in a couple of weeks. It's the only casino/resort in Vegas where we enjoy all the restaurants there. If you like Mac & Cheese, Twin Creeks has the best that we have ever had. They also have a great variety of VP there. That's what we really like about it.
You may want to ask or pm Bagiant. He would know.

We were there about 2 years ago. The room was ok, the bed was superb and the bathroom was very very small like what you would find in an inexpensive motel.
I am spoiled by the strip rooms and love luxury so the bath kinda brought things down.

They have some newly renovated rooms on the first floor. They are non smoking rooms. They are very nice and have a flat screen TV in every room which the older rooms don't have. If you let me know when you want to be there, I'll set it up to make sure you get one of these rooms. Just PM me a week before you want to be there and I'll set it up. If you really wanted the suite, I could ask for that also, but it would depend on their occupancy rate for the time you are going to arrive. I could probably get you the Bass Pro suite which is about the same suite that I stay in, but it has a bar counter instead of a dining room table. It is decorated with all kinds of fishing gear and fishing pictures. If I can get you that, you won't have to worry about the "small" bathroom, and would have a large jacuzzi tub. Just let me know.

As far as their "small" bathrooms, they really aren't as bad as reported. After all, how much time do you spend in the bathroom anyway? The beds and pillows are fantastic no matter what rooms you are in. They are the same mattresses that are in the Bellagio. The comforters are goose down. They are supplied by pacificcoast.com if you want to see what they look like. I have two sets and a duvay (sic). When you get into bed at the Silverton, you just don't want to get up in the morning, and can't wait to go to sleep at night.
