A Simple Inquiry?

Which of these is worse?

1. Telling someone they are worthless and you are going to see to it they don't get anything, because you are a mean old greedy fart and that is just the way it is.

or

2. Telling someone you're going to solve their problem filling them with hope only to never deliver on your promise and ultimately leaving them worse off than before.
2 is worse assuming that they know their promises will never be filled. If the promises are in good faith, then they are just incompetent. If they know the promises are lies, they are mean and devious and suck moose balls.
Yeah, I always suspected that Consumer Reports™ was pure evil.
Everyone knows consumer reports sucks moose balls.....as part of their new product testing.

No. 2: It is called farming for votes.

Wait. You mean appealing to actual voters by providing services that they actually want? Outrageous!

Your gripe is with the governor of our state who refuses to expand Medicaid. Accross the river is a completely different experience. I suspect as the costs of NOT expanding Medicaid become unignorable our governor (Mike Putz) will have to surrender his ideology to simple arithmetic. I truly hope for your family's sake that is sooner rather then later.

It is really too bad that both you and Chilly don't have even half of the creativity that you think you do. I'm flattered though. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.
By the way when I first started reading Item 1 of the first post of this thread, I thought you were talking about someone who was setting up their will or trust.
