Six more sleeps.

Two of us arrive one night early, and we're staying at the Golden Nugget in a couple of Corner Jr. Suites. The entire group of 14 then spends three nights at the Casino Royale. Dinning at Andiamo's Steakhouse, The Peppermill (cocktails in the lounge), Lotus of Siam, and Musashi Hibachi Steakhouse......among others. Golfing on the Wolf Paiute course. A buddy wants to visit the Vegas pawn shop that's on that show, and I'll visit since he wants to. On Saturday, I'm hoping to find time to hit a few of the newer bars/clubs on Fremont Street East. Three of the boys arrive a couple of days early, and they're renting bikes and doing a 600 mile trip north of Vegas. I got four day rental from Costco/Alamo for $115 including taxes.

This is our annual trip, and we always have a party in the suite one night. It'll be tight quarters at our small Casino Royale suite as the social area is only the size of a standard hotel room, but we'll manage.

On Saturday we'll watch a bunch of college football games, but unfortunately the Boilers don't play until Sunday which is travel day.

Go Vegas!

Have a great trip!
+1 - Enjoy!
Thank you Blonde and Jphelan.

I still enjoy the gambling portion of this trip, but I don't "jones" any longer while waiting to play blackjack. The trip now certainly centers around all of the boys getting together for a hell of a fun weekend...................which includes a good slug of gaming.

I will be arriving shortly after you. I get to stay 8 days lucky me. Taking a couple of newbies which is always fun . Have fun and win big.
600 mile bike ride in the heat of summer!!! What are they thinking??? Otherwise, it sounds like a fun trip.
Sounds like a blast, have fun!

BTW that 600 mile bike ride in the desert heat? that sounds brutal to me, not fun but to each his own.
Sounds like a lot of good planning and fun.

The 600 mile bike ride...I assume this is by motorbikes? One way or round trip?
My friends ride, often crossing half the country and back.
They've been doing it for maybe the past dozen years, or so. Besides, it's a dry heat................but then again so is an oven.
