slots experience

Many of the new "penny machines" have bonus rounds with lots going on the screen and such. Most of these type of slots have a "volume" control on them for you to set how you wish.
Playing hangover, michael jackson and such I like my volume above medium. Just for the full effects of the machine. However, this past weekend we visited Ft Randall casino. Many of their penny machines have no volume control (for the player) and some were turned completely off. I had no fun sitting at a machine that made no noise whatsoever.
So, how do you like your volume?

Wife had a nice trip. Hardly plays slots. Dropped $40 in dollar machine (sapphire) I think. Hit various bars once for $15. She was about to give up, was down to $31 credit, THEN she hit "triple sapphire-triple sapphire-red seven! Payed $2700! Took forever for the hand pay and paperwork. They did comp us 2 buffets for taking so long to pay off (computer malfunction) I guess.
One of the security guys found me minutes later and asked if I took a pic of her HIT. I said, yes I did. He proceeded to have me pull the pic up and delete it. I have only had this happen at 2 Indian casinos, no where else. He mentioned they saw me snap the pic on the security cameras.

I mentioned to my wife that the payoff took so long cause they had too call a "tribal meeting" and raise the $2700!

Really good winning trip. All wins lately have been small up till now.

This is totally uncalled for, and 100% pure BS for a casino to play this kind of security stunt.

In today's society just about everyone has a cell-phone camera

What does this gain a casino???, ..... other than taking some of the joy and memories away from the patron.

CONGRATS to Your Wife on the Nice Hit

Rick
Next time take the picture and text it to yourself or someone else, that way, you'll have an only one to delete.

I had already sent the pic to our 2 daughters, did'nt work out as well for the tribe as they may have thought. (pretty sneaky, huh).

I'm with you guys, what the hell does the pic hurt! They should welcome the publicity "that someone actually has won something"!

I played several "blazing 7's" in Blackhawk and hit a couple of "jackpots" also several 3 red 7's which pays 300 coins! Took pics of all those hits and the attendants their were happy for me. At one time I had 3 machines paying me on 7's as I was waiting for the "hand pay" on 2 of them. I do "tip" if I hit a hand pay.
Next time you want your volume raised, just ask one of the slot techs. They should gladly help you out. I do this at the Silverton regularly when I don't like the volume on my machine.
