SLS

At least fo the time being, the SLS is matching mailed offers. They matched a Venetian/Palazzo mailer for room and FP for me yesterday.

Call ahead. Speak to someone in marketing. They'll arrange your room and explain a gazillion times that emails are not part of the offer. It must be an offer you received in the mail and you must bring the mailer with you. You must check in and present a credit card. Then you go to the players' club ("The Code") and present the mailed offer. Freeplay is downloaded to your card and a call is made to the front desk confirming your free room.

As far as I know, this is not widely publicized. I stumbled upon the info when I asked a host on opening day whether SLS had tier matching. (They don't.) I happened to be in town, so I made a call the next day and set things up.

Good luck!
Thanks for that info
I wonder if it's only 'strip' hotels or if they'll match my 2 free nights at Plaza mailer.
I was not told of any "qualifying conditions", but again, it was stoopid dumb luck I even found out about this. What the heck, AlanLeroy...if you chose to call 'em, report back!

I have not made it to SLS yet. How was it?
Its a great offer but there's way too many moving parts for me to be confident it will go smoothly - especially with a new staff. I envision a 30 minute wait at the players club and checkin desk while they argue with each other and call for manager approval...etc...etc...etc...

Let us know how it goes.
I have a mailer for Silver Sevens for 4 nights suite, $300 FP and $300 dining credit. I'll call SLS and check it out. Thanks for the heads up.

I was there twice this week. It was very nice and very crowded as you might expect. Parked at the Stratosphere and walked from there, about three blocks.

vpFREE2 now lists a lot of the video poker available: https://www.vpfree2.com/casino/sahara-hotel-casino

I'm sure there will be more info in the Sept. LVA newsletter.

I note that the newer hotels appear to want to decorate in all white or almost all white. This includes the new Delano (formerly THE hotel) and SLS. I wouldn't be surprised if the Cromwell did it too.

Las Vegas is a city that has many guests that are hard on hotel rooms. This includes sex stains, puke stains, skid marks, etc. I think they are going to regret in a few years that they decorated in white.
