Smokers in casinos

I haven't smoked since my first heart attack -- twelve years ago -- but Las Vegas is for misbehaving, so I say smoke 'em if you've got 'em.

Smoking fish in casinos, on the other hand, is just obnoxious. (I'm looking at YOU, Muckleshoot.)

I've smoked for 8 years, quit cold turkey since 1992. Whenever a smoker asks, "Do you mind if I smoke?" Which also means, "I'm lighting up and you ain't stopping me" (but i still respect these smokers more than those that just light up). I always reply, "it's your lungs." However, it never seems to work because they then start to chain smoke (lol).

People talk about respecting "smokers rights", I don't have any respect for anyone who does not have respect for their own health.

Well, at least you're true to your always obnoxious personality. So, you never eat any fast food, sleep too little, take one alcoholic beverage too much or exercise too little? If you do you just provided the evidence you are completely full of BS.

Smoking is allowed in LV casino's. Curtousy goes a long way and I will always consider those sitting next to me. When I'm already in my seat, you sit next to me and start giving me crap for smoking, I'll give you some "friendly" advice and I'm pretty much sure you won't be sitting next to me after 10 more minutes.

If you hate smoking is LV casinos, stay the f..... out of town until they ban the smoking. There are plenty of non-smoking casinos in the US. End or rant.

I have no respect for pompous asses either, but I always seem to cross paths with one somewhere.

I find the newer/nicer casinos have excellent ventilation and I have rarely been bothered by smokers at the tables.
I am usually annoyed by random people for various reasons, those at the BJ tables going over what every hand would have been had this or that one did or didn't hit, someone who gets nasty with the dealers just because they lost, obnoxious drunks, shooters throwing the dice off the table many times, etc...
Smokers are way on the bottom of my list.

Smoking is a socially unacceptable habit.

I'm not a smoker but I always keep a cigar handy in the casinos.

Its a great means by which to chase away annoying machine hogs or button slappers. Nothing makes grandpa Elmer run for the exits faster than a little smoke in his oxygen hose.
