I would say that the percentage of college kids who demand that their colleges disallow conservative speakers on campus well exceeds 50%. In other words, if you don't have Liberal thoughts, they will fight to keep you silent.

I have visited three different, large college campuses over the last 2 years. From my observation and from talking to the young relatives attending these colleges, the snowflakes are rare. They are there, they do exist, but they are a relative minority of the student body. But for some reason (sarcasm) they get way more media attention than they deserve.

Try taking a political science course with a long hair, tree hugging, spit spewing, liberal for your teacher. Don't expect a fairly graded paper unless you act like a liberal.

God, I always did well no matter what type of teacher I had. If I had some far right wackadoo, I'd write my papers with that in mind. That is what college is about learning to think critically. If someone can't do well in a course taught by a far out liberal or far out conservative it is because they aren't smart enough to think outside their own box.

malibber- did you, in your infinite wisdom, ever think that others may not be as "smart" as you consider yourself to be? It is a shame that you received such a poor education that does not allow you to relate to reality.
I will settle for being smarter than you.

It hurts my head and it feels so sleazy to try and write like a liberal.

malibber- Being delusional does not equate to being smart. But it is your world.....

This makes the point for the conservative view on what is perceived to be happening to higher education.

You were smart enough to see the whole picture and react accordingly to get the grade. I would assume (yeah, yeah, I know) that you have carried this through life to get ahead.

The problem is that there are those that will only accept things their way. If they cannot get their way they will throw a 3 year old's tantrum and claim all kinds of stress and imaginary attacks on their fragile emotions.

My point on this thread is that there are more students (even ones with liberal viewpoints) that understand than there are snowflakes that get all the media attention.
The rare conservative professor doesn't penalize Liberals, while the plethora of Liberals professors do penalize Conservatives.

I always thought that no snowflakes are alike, guess not huh?
After they melt, they're all alike.
