Our town, Shelton,CT got 40" of snow. It took us 8 hours to shovel/snowblow our driveway, once down the end, the street had enourmous drifts. Snow plows are useless, the city has been hiring big equipment contractors. Payloaders are having some success, it's just very very slow. I was 17 when the blizzard of 78 hit CT. That was awful and amazing all at the same time, however this was even worse.
I loved the weather channel, they had 4 reporters in Boston, and 4 in NYC, only 1 in CT and that is where all the action is...idiots.
Our schools are closed tomorrow again, and probably Wed. too.
