Snubbed by a fellow LVA'er

So, I am at the Golden Gate on Fremont street a few weeks back with my trusty LVA book trying to make my $25 match play on a craps table when a guy shows up and try's to use his LVA match play coupon at the table (you cant by the way-you need to go to the rewards booth and get a $25 match play chip and then make your bet)
Anyway, I see the LVA book and say, "Hey your a fellow LVA'r" waving my book at him. I was hoping to put a face with one of the names that I see on these boards, but the guy looks at me like I have two heads, turns around and leaves! WTF?
I am posing the question....if you see someone in Las Vegas with a LVA coupon book, do you say hi? or just keep walking by?
I have always hoped that Anthony Curtis would hold a one time "all members meet" so I could meet everyone.

I think its safe to assume the overwhelming majority of members do not post in the forums regularly - if at all.
So its likely you would have not put a face to a name anyway.

It is possible that someone gave that guy their unused MRB book,
since it is nearing the end of the year and some coupons would have gone unused.
That could be why he acted the way he did.
