So Faye Has Leukemia.

Just got the news when I walked in the door. She said she called the doctors office to find out her test results, and it came back she now has leukemia. Ain't that the pits? I know when she was in the hospital, they gave her two blood transfusions. She has been losing weight like crazy, and has probably dropped 30 lb.s in a very short time. Before she was swelling up like crazy, and we couldn't even lift her off the couch. Now she isn't even heavy at all and it takes nothing to lift her.

Naturally, she blames it on me and the "skank ho" which is ridiculous since we can't control how her body functions.

But I know people that have had leukemia before, and it isn't a total death sentence. I'm sure she'll pull though as she is stubborn as a mule. So let's all of us say a prayer for her and hope for the best!
Sorry to heat that. I wish the best for Faye.

Sorry but you are wrong. There is a very direct link to stress and the immune system. I hope she keeps up a fight.

Sorry, but she's had a myriad of problems before I ever met Sharlene. If it wasn't for me getting her help a long time ago, she'd be dead long ago. I'm the one who saw and ad at a doctors office looking for patients that had severe migrain problems. I'm the one who insisted that she call these people to see if they could help her. I'm the one that took her to the Scripps clinic so she could get checked out. If I didn't take her there, she would have never known that she had a serious high blood pressure problem which had to be looked into immediately. I'm the one who did the research to find a place that would take her without any insurance. She finally got CMS...California Medical Insurance....which was a blessing because she had no insurance.

But she's a fighter, and she won't give up as long as Sharlene is in the picture. At least that's what she told me. It really doesn't matter as I'll stick by her side no matter what.
It sounds like you are trying to say enough things to make yourself feel better about it all. To me that means you do have feelings and I am glad you do. Just try not to create any more stress for her, that's all I am saying.
Of course I have strong feeling for her. You don't live with someone for 18 years and not have strong feelings for them. I just hope it's not a life threatening situation.
Oh my. Poor Faye.

I'm glad she has her children.
Bag's sorry to hear about the bad news. My prayers are for the both of you. Just make sure she takes her meds and make sure she does what the doctor tells her to do.
So sorry to hear that bagiant, prayers and best wishes to you and faye.
