So Faye Has Leukemia.

Bags:

Sorry to hear this news, and I wish you and Faye the best. The doctors cannot treat you if they don't know what you have. So, if there is a silver lining, at least she has a diagnosis now. Continue to take good care of her!

Very sorry to hear this, she needs you more than ever now.
So very sorry to hear the sad news.

From your previous posts, I know she is loved in very good hands.

Rick
sorry to hear about this, Bags. Is it acute or Chronic? There are many treatments now, so the prognosis doesn't always turn out for the worse. There are several factors that contribute to this condition such as smoking, previous radiation treatments, exposure to chemicals, and genetics. Adults can have it for years without showing symptoms, so you never know when it started for Faye. Sounds like she had been in failing health for years and years, so it might be hard to pinpoint an exact cause for most of her problems. Regardless of the relationship struggles you two have, it is good to see that she can still count on you to help her deal with the illness.

I really don't know if it's acute or chronic. I guess we'll find out when she goes to the doctor next week. I'm not a doctor so I wouldn't know the answer to this, but I wonder if those blood transfusions had a role in this problem.

I am very sorry to hear this Bob, our prayers our with Faye, you and her Family, hoping for the best.
Bags,
Goodspeed health for Faye.....your Jints been playing great as of late......take the good with the bad...hang tuff Bags!
It's really something when you can't do anything about it. I had this problem once with my son, when no one could diagnose his problem. Turns out he had Chrones disease, and he was treated once they found out what it was. But the wait to find out what it was was horrible. I just hope that Faye pulls through whatever the problem is. Really sucks when you can't do something for someone you love.
