So Faye Has Leukemia.

It's really something when you can't do anything about it. I had this problem once with my son, when no one could diagnose his problem. Turns out he had Chrones disease, and he was treated once they found out what it was. But the wait to find out what it was was horrible. I just hope that Faye pulls through whatever the problem is. Really sucks when you can't do something for someone you love. Even sharlene is concerned about her health.
My friend's father has lived a full, strong life since being diagnosed with leukemia over ten years ago, and is still going strong. My prayers are with you guys.
a good friend of mine's wife was diagnosed with leuk almost a year ago. after several procedures they finally went with the bone marrow transplant. she had a brother who was the perfect match. she is doing good for now.

don't wait on this. check any blood matches and let the docs determine what to do.

god bless
My mother in law had this same disease for over 10 years before she died. She went thru Chemo/radiation numerous times for this and breast cancer. She had breast cancer twice ! Neither of these diseases killed her. She live to be 83 and it was her heart that gave out in the end.

Thoughts and prayers going out for Faye.

We went to her doctor today and they drew 8 vials of blood. Seems it was the hospital that came up with the diagnosis when she was staying there. Only until the records were transferred to her regular physician did she find out that they suspected leukemia.

It was probably Crohn's disease that this guy's son had, there's a half million or so sufferers here in the United States.

Weird that someone could love their son and not know how his incurable, lifechanging disease is spelled.

Then again, this forum's constantly bombarded with news of this particular father's capacity to love.

You've disappointed us Chilcoot with your "there's a half million or so sufferers here in the United States" statement.
A half million or so? You know the exact number. Please tell us?

"Weird that someone could love their son and not know how his incurable, lifechanging disease is spelled."

Love is often measured by spelling.
I have to say, I am surprised it took them "this long" to figure ths out, since she was in and out oif the hosp ll the time. Seems Odd. Since while in the hosp they draw labs at least x2 a day .

If this is the truth then best of luck to Faye, will Shar's friend from Prison be caring for her or will real money be put out to get a real professional to care for her?

I read some and there are very slow developing leukemias that just result in some extra white blood cells. While it sounds serious it might not be the worst of Faye's troubles.
