So , Has Anyone Else Been to Monte Lago?

I was hoping that maybe some local could add to what Singer had to say about the Monte Lago. Are there still people taking a look see at what's going on there? Would like to hear some other opinions.

Got an postcard "to our friends at" kind of address. If you stop in and sign up for a slot card, you get a free bottle of wine. Right now, we have more inventory than Lee's Discount Liquors here in town so driving 45+ minutes one way isn't high on my priority list.

Seeing that they have such crappy pay schedules, I'm not inclined to run over there anytime soon. Unlike Singer, I never contend that I can easily win money off of a bad pay table. Too many other places between here and there to rationalize a trip. Like to check out some of the restaurants frequented/recommend by Westie but that will likely be the extent of my stay.

I will do a walk through the next time we out to Lake Las Vegas to dine, but given the absence of FP VP, I won't be doing any gambling. My guess is the casino will be virtually empty.

Their one seafood restaurant is supposed to be top notch.
