So many have left

As I was reading the "today" page and at the bottom listed our 10 most prolific posters. I see that of those ten 7 have been "mia" for an extended period and one of them has not been around since the first of this month.

Site seems like a bit of a "ghost town" at times compared to what it use to be.

Maybe they all just "grew up" and don't need the vegas fix unlike many of us

This generally happens on different forums from time to time and you get quite used to it. Since this is a specialized forum, your going to get swings depending upon several factors, with a major one being the economy. Give it 6 months and then see where the trend goes, then you can tell for sure if anything is off.

Things change...life evolves...interests wax and wane. As an example, I used to be VERY into the online Mafia Wars game and haven't played it in months.

I only look at LVA when DD tells me he's made a post I may be interested in reading.

I admit, though, that when I'm reading a thread DD as pointed out to me or making my own post, I do enjoy reading comments from my favorite "regulars"...like you woody!...er...rewoodpecker. I also enjoy the humor of alanleroy, the comments by snidely, my (former) fellow Arizonans like MissL7777 and friedmush, BAGIANT and many others...and, of course, my sweet DD. (lol)

Some of us have gone back to lurking.

it was the changeover a couple of months ago . screwed everybody up . i had trouble getting back to my screenname when i came back.

Some people may not be able to access their computer through the snow.
Just saying.

I hope it is just my imagination, but it doesn't seem like this message board is as popular as it used to me. Maybe the problem is that I enjoy it so much that I am checking in more often and therefore see fewer new posts!

I stopped coming on when they did that screwy change over. Couldn't get on so I went someplace else. Now that its back to normal I'm back.

It used to be fun they had get togethers in Vegas talked about the best deals and how to get things on the cheap, then the A-holes showed up and everything went politcal got boring quick.
It would be fun if the forum went back to the old way. Maybe I am just old I don't like the change.

There is less more politics now and more boring arguments about VP.
