So much for low roller comps at the Venetian!

Take a look at this. I heard a host talk about it years ago. I've never seen it discussed in LVA. Anybody been there?

Great link to a great article, randyi. I was fortunate enough to see the Paiza Club--my host at the Venetian was kind enough to give me an undeserved tour. The actual gambling area there is nice enough, but nothing spectacular--think most high limit private room and areas at the better places. The emphasis is on service, discreetness and exclusivity. They can sleep at the tables there if they want--have a sandwich flown in from Paris if they want, nothing is denied--in this place, truly "we can't..." means losing their business.

Great article on comps and insight into comps too. Thanks for posting.
2008 comps aren't the same as they are today. While the whales are likely getting the same treatment, lower level play today is getting more attention than it was when Las Vegas was feeling to big to fail.
