So What's With All These Audis?

I'm on the road a lot and boy do I see a lot of Audis these days. You can always see them coming because of those LED lights they have around their headlights. I mean these lights are so popular that they are now on Mercedes, Lexus, Volkswagens, and even Fords.

But out here, I see all these Audis from the cheapest models to the most expensive. Today I even saw a sports car model that I've never seen before.

They sure are a good looking car, and Californians are buying them like they're giving them away for free!
There are certain types newfangled headlights and mirrors that are not legal in the USA yet. No LED headlights.
Audis?
I have an innie.
It's kind of like those hands, cards or situations in Video Poker that keep popping up.

You keep seeing them, because you are now looking for them.

I used to have an Audi, and one time I checked into a hotel and the girl asked me my make, model and plate # for a parking pass. When I got me receipt she had typed "Outtie" as the make

A "call" girl?
This guy driving one in all those action movies likely helped.

"Vorsprung durch Technik"

It is apparently not just BAGIANT's imagination. Since 2009 there has been a marked increase in Audi sales in the USA.

Well, of course, pretty much everything with a price tag is selling far better now today than it was in 2009, a year when our economy was in a terrible recession.

From today's Wall Street Journal:

"U.S. auto sales rose at the strongest rate in more than five years in June, propelled by a surge in pickup truck demand and lending new confidence to industry executives that the nation's auto recovery has more room to run."

. . .

General Motors Co. predicted June’s annualized selling clip would hit 15.8 million cars and light trucks. That would be the fastest selling pace since November of 2007.

It's not just Audi, it's everyone who makes good products and sells them in the United States.

So...... in other words the "Sky is not falling" on the auto industry and that Gov't bailout of GM was never a disaster that some people on these boards claimed would happen. Just saying.
AND ..... I'm still waiting for those astronomically high interest rates that were supposed to happen right after January 2009. Again, just saying.
