So Who You Got?

Just want to see who everyone has for the SB. I'm sure most have the Panthers. But I look at it like this!

Better defense+ 2 weeks rest + points = Denver Broncos. I've taken them + the 6 points and over 45, and a money line bet at +185.

The Panthers will crush Denver, period.

Denver not only has a great defense, they have an elite defense. They had Tom Brady totally flustered in the last game.

In recent history I can think of three teams with elite defenses and two of those teams had just average quarterbacks. Those teams that had elite defenses were Seattle when they beat Denver (with a good Payton Manning), the Baltimore Ravens with Trent Dilfer, and the Tampa Bay Bucs with Brad Johnson.

Manning isn't half of what he used to be, but he is as smart as ever. If Denver plays with the intensity they played against New England, I think there is a definite chance of an upset. Don't forget how bad Carolina looked in the second half against Seattle.

I'm rooting for Peyton Manning but I think the Panther's will beat him and the Broncos up. I just hope the game isn't over by half time. I hate those kinds of Super Bowls.

I'm probably going to take Denver and the points, and go for the under, as I think Denver's defense will keep the score low.

i don't have any money on the game. I would really love to see Manning and the Broncos win, but Cam and the Panthers seem un-stoppable. does anyone think Denver can do it?

I have three bets so far. Overtime, the safety and under six sacks. I'd like to see Manning win, but won't bet on it.

I've got two Super Bowl squares on a $20/square board. Waiting to get my numbers. Only skin I have in the game. I'll probably lean toward Denver hoping that Manning can go out a winner.

As a long time AFC fan, I am going with Denver (except when the patriots play)
