So why do some topics have blank pages at the end?

This is driving me nuts in the Delete and the ObamaCare threads. You go to the end and then need to go back several pages. The speed of the site does not help.

I love another unnamed site that lets you quickly read new posts since your last visit.

I was wondering that as well because it only started happening recently. Well that coincided with finally and reluctantly putting someone on ignore then it came to me that that is probably the rreason for the blank pages. Those are all the "ignored" pages from that person(or people).

The more drivel posted by those you ignore, the more blank pages you'll see.

That makes sense --- only one "drivel-er" maybe I should "un-ignore"

And why do posters keep copying what was said by another poster when they reply? What a waste of space!
