The social network

Anyone else see this flick? It's about M Zuckerburg and the creation of wastebook..er..I mean facebook. Its' a really interesting movie and from what i know about the subject (and that not a whole lot) theres definitely some factual material in there. The manner they portray him is not flattering and from what i've seen and know about him seems somewhat accurate.

Its' based on a book titled "the accidental billionaire", I plan on getting it soon, can't wait to read it.

JOHN

Can you believe that they said at the end current valuation is 25B. There wasn't a date on the movie but i'll bet its higher because every time it talked about on CNBC it goes up a billion or few. I remember just a few years ago, the word was a billion. I wonder what the final IPO amount will be?
I just watched a part of it again early in the AM, and last week watched the whole thing from beginning to end on the Encore channel. I don't know if it portrayed him in a bad light, but more of a visionary than his partner. It wasn't until he met the guy from Napster...forget his name...that the company really took off. His partner wanted advertising and he didn't, and the guy from Napster agreed. He was also the one that suggested he move to California if he really wanted The Facebook to take off. He was also the one that suggested that they drop the "THE" from Facebook. I really enjoyed the movie. I thought it was a great scene when that girl passed him a note in his computer science class, and when he read it he got up to leave, and the professor said something about another one dropping out of the class, and he turned around and gave him the answer to the problem. What a genius he is!

On a side note, Napster was located in La Jolla, UTC actually, and I got to deliver a lot of legal papers to their office. Outside the office was a Porshe Carrera with the license plate NAPSTER!
This movie has been out for at least 6 -8 months. It is my understanding that since value of facebook is now in the billions with no end insight, that the twins and Marks original CFO are suing again for more money. not million but for billions
