Society Cafe Closing At the Encore!

One of the best cafes is closing at the Encore. What a shame! They were getting this cafe to get a 5 star rating and now they are closing it. I loved to have breakfast there and it was very good, and now they are closing the place. First time I eer had a kobe beef burger there and i was delicious.

I just don't understand why they are closing this elite cafe!

Was just there. I believe it is for remodel, not indefinite closure. There were signs to that effect.
I made a reservation for that joint but they refused to seat me. Apparently my Big Johnson t-shirt fell short of their dress code..

Society Cafe Closing
This is a place I wanted to visit. On "The Best Thing I Ever Ate" they featured the steak and egg sliders from the Society Cafe. I meant to go there last trip to try them.

Well, fooey. On the other hand, I hated to admit it to myself, but the place was suffering. Used to be a favorite. We would walk to Society for breakfast even if not staying at Wynn. Two weeks ago their eggs bene had some 1/4" thick un-chewable shoeleather that they called Canadian bacon. I sent it back. Dinner the night before also not great, things were not as before.

Maybe they were cleaning out the pantry.

Hope the replacement is as good as SC used to be.
