Something different to do

Hello all,

Been an LVA member for a few weeks and have been looking in on this forum and enjoying what I've read (especially the thread on mutiple bookings!). I've been to LV four times over the last few years and will be coming in May with a couple of friends. This will be the first time for one of my friends so we'll do the normal stuff like going Downtown and checking out some of the bigger resorts that are fun to walk through. However, I'm looking for something different to do, something that will be new for me too.

I'll take any suggestions that don't run the risk of having to arrange bail!

Thanks.
If you're a thrill seeker you could try the new controlled free fall at the strat.
If you're looking for a place to spend a couple hours, you could try the Pinball Hall Of Fame. Lots of machines to play and they don't eat your money nearly as fast as the slots do (unless you're a REALLY , REALLY lousy pinball player!) . Depending on your age, it's either a trip down memory lane or a whole new experience! Either way, it's a fun and different way to spend some time Las Vegas!Pinball Museum Site

I second the Pinball HOF. I try to make it a regular stop now. Its a great place to get a break from gambling and play some pinball for a few hours.

I don't know what your budget is, but if you have the funds take the helicopter tour of the Grand Canyon. It's a once in a lifetime experience. Do your resrearch as far as safety, reviews etc. There used to be discount coupons available online also.
Hoover Dam.
If you have a car- Red rock Canyon, Valley of Fire, or Nelsons Landing are all great drives that you can do in an afternoon.
If you like old Vegas, a tour of the Neon Graveyard is interesting, but can get quite hot. There is zero shade or places to sit.

Or you could try the zipline on Fremont street.
I second the Red Rock Canyon tour. There's lot of places to take pictures and if you're real adventurous there is hiking as well.
My brother and I are making our 10th trip . We are going to Skydive Las Vegas. I just need to lose 5 pounds before April 17th (lol)

The pinball hall looks like fun too.
