Sons first time vegas TR

Man this was the worst trip ever, everything that could go wrong did wrong. First our flight left 4 hours late, then we had to sit on the runway at Maccaren for an hour when we landed! This delay doubly sucked because we are all in a bad mood of course and my whole plan of pulling the joke on my son about how we only had a one bedroom didn't go over as well as I thought it would, he was pretty pissed off about it. We finally got checked in and settled, mom hit the bed,we headed out to gamble, that seemed to improve his mood a little.

I bankrolled him with a few bucks, told him to go try a few slots and lay low, see what happens if someone approaches and asks just tell 'em you forgot your wallet. I sat down at a table to play and be close. He finally did get carded so we moved on to the next place and did the same thing with about the same result, moved on to the next place. After this one we were tired so back to room for sleep. He wasn't as pissed right now when he had to pull out the bed (I had got him a little liquored up so he was feeling pretty good, we were actually laughing on the walk to the room. Mom was none the wiser what we were doing, that's a good thing 'cause she'd go ballistic if she ever knew what we were up to.

Next morning went to eat at a buffet and unfortunately mom(wife) got kinda sick and ended up in the bathroom for the next few days. This was great! A blessing in disguise, time to spend some real quality father/son bonding time. Well it turned out that it wasn't so great afterall 'cause a few nights later we had had too much to drink and were feeling really ballsy and ended up being kicked out the casino when they "caught" us for the second time playing at a table. Oh well, plenty more places but that was a tad scary and nerve-racking being kicked out.

I figured I better stay home and nurse the wife a little bit the next night, she was starting to wonder what all we've being doing and asking too many questions. This is when it really went down hill. I got a call from metro and they had our son in the clink. DAMN! well I had to tell her what all was going on and I had to go bail him out of jail. Ballistic was a total understatement. What ever the next level after that is, go up a few more notches. In 23 yrs we've been married she's never been this mad.

We ended up sitting in the room for the second half of the week not doing anything, went out to out eat a few times, but that's all. She's not getting over this, she won't even let us drink, I have to sneak it in after she's asleep so we can drink some.Odd thing I start noticing after the next few nights. I seem to have money missing and I don't remember spending it.Then I know what's happening. I get another call from metro, SOB!, he's been stealing money to go out gambling after I I go to sleep! He's never done anything like this, we have trusted him all our lives he knows our PIN no.s and everything and he just doesn't steal, it's not in him. I have to go bail him out again

I don't even have to say how bad the wife took this second go-round. The remaining time was spent in silence sitting in the room watching tv, I wish I was dead. It finally comes time to leave only to find the dog dead when we get home. The wife said she's filing for divorce and my son has cleaned out our bank accts and is heading to AC I think, not sure, but I wish he had waited for me, we could've spent some more quality father/son time.
Funny stuff, Jatki! I love it.
John,
Did you happen to bump into EllenMonster while you were in Las Vegas ?

So, . . . other than that, . . . how was the trip?
