Isn't that trophy supposed to look like a football?????

Overall, a very nice game.

It's an asterisk.

* Game won with a player that should have been suspended.

I'm not sure if that's true, but it is pretty funny.

"LUCKY" wtf!

Keep in mind that I really did not care which team won but. Auburn D-Line pushed the undermuscled lineman from O all over the field. Oregon threw some very desperate passes that could have been intercepted.

Cam played fairly well as compared to other Heisman winners in their bowl games.

Lastly, What was up with the field? They just re-sodded after the Oklahoma game last week! Many many times both teams had "slips" that may have changed the game. The NCAA puts their biggest sport to play on a field that was not ready!!!!

YES LUCKY. They don't get that play where everybody thought he was down, that game goes into overtime. Yes the defensive line was great for Auburn. Oregon however made the Auburn quarterback look average, so I don't think you made your point.

WHAT? Were we both watching the same game? You have NO idea of way of knowing if the game goes OT or not. The would have passed the ball perhaps on the ensuing plays. We just DON'T KNOW!

Oregon can not even get their offensive line to score at WHAT the ONE on more than one occasion. That is getting manhandled up front my friend.

Had Oregon "been really thinking" they would have let them scored on the final possession rather than tackle him at the one. Easy to consider now of course. They would have at least had a chance for a return of a kick.

Good game, but Oregon could NOT match Auburn in the physical department. period! The better team last night won the game.

I am certainly not an Auburn or SEC fan but anyone watching this game can not be surprised.

I can easily say they were lucky. The decisive play was when it looked like your No. 5 was down in the last drive. Everybody stopped. There was defensive tackle right there to take him right back down if he thought the ball was still alive. The play was called correctly, but Auburn was lucky. They don't have that happen, then they don't make it and they go into overtime.

If so, why in the hell did'nt the Oregon defender who was "right there" continue until he heard a whistle?

I didn't really notice 51, as for the allegations, I usually blow them off until something is actually proven.

I'm tired of people making acquations without one shread of evidence either way. THOSE are the people who should be thrown into a running wood chipper.
I bet on Orygun, took the points based on their team speed. From the opening kickoff, when one poor Auburn kid who was unblocked, just slipped and did the splits blowing out his knee and then the kick returner slipped 2X I knew the field was a mess. That definitely helped Auburns big and physical lines (led by the dirtiest player in D-1 football) and negated Orygun's strenth.
So yes, Auburn was more dominant. And their excellent kicker may well have ended it in regulation anyway. But on a firm fast field (artificial turf?) the Ducks could play their game.
Regardless, Oregon lost and so did my bet.
I was gonna go to Auburn...but they wouldn't pay my pappy enuf hehe
First time I saw Cam play was last night. I've read all the news about him. I thought he was better than that. I was more impressed with the AU running back.

Chef, it's reasonably cut and dry that Cam's father solicited money from Mississippi St for Cam to go there. Only because they were unable to prove that Cam knew of it, was why he was allowed to play in the BCS. And any rational person realizes that the NCAA pretty much swept it under the rug because Cam made the title game so much more compelling (remember when they suspended him then re-instated him, literally overnight?)

There was also stuff from Cam's Florida days that Cam never denied, things like he bought a stolen computer and multiple cheating allegations.

And while none of these rose to the level of Bush taking a pay cut when he went to the Saints, you can't exactly say that there's 'not one shred of evidence' that Cam and his dad were scumbags. It would be like saying there's no evidence that Clinton got that hummer, since we don't actually have it on tape.
