I don't know if you've stayed there before, but if not, I think you'll like it! It is one of my favorite places to stay and play in Las Vegas!

No, never stayed there before. Spent an afternoon there about 6 months ago. Other than my wife getting kicked out of the bingo hall, we had a great time.

I've stayed there once because Friday night prices were very high at other hotels.

My room was something like 550 square feet and was very nice. I ate at the sea food bar and loved it. I have since eaten at the prime rib place. While the prime rib place was no Lawry's it was very good and the price was very reasonable.
Have stayed there my last 6 trips to Vegas. Know it pretty well. Very easy to get a comp there.

We went there a few times just for the seafood bar, pretty good grub and the beer was cold. We had planned on going back sometime for the prime rib place but never made it. It looks like a great place to stay,it's definitely one of my favorite casinos to play even tho I've never really had the chance to stay very long.

BTW Snidely, kicked out of the bingo hall, really? Do tell (if you want)

My wife and I like to share a bingo board. This way we feel like we're playing as a team instead of against one another. So, we bought about $35 or 45 worth of bingo cards at South Point and put them all on one electronic device. Then we sit together and do the bingo thing. We were a bit hungover this time so we were sucking down a few bottles of complimentary water when they made an intercom announcement that everyone must have their own device or cards. My wife didn't hear the announcement. I ignored it. Eventually some bingo security ladies came over to give us grief for playing only one device. We explained their flawed logic to them that we had purchased over double the minimum buy in for each of us so there shouldn't be an issue for us to enjoy the complimentary water. They said the issue was taking up two seats when the room was crowded. It was 10 am and the room was over 1/2 empty. Our bingo device started to sing the one away from a bingo music. We appealed to the manager. The manager came over with some extra mean-looking bingo security ladies and said our appeal was denied and as my wife got up to leave, the bingo music played and we won $200. I'm sure some old bitty tattletaled on us and was hating every minute of hearing our "you're in the money" bingo song.

My wife still questions me why she was the one that the bingo security escorted out.

HA! What a great story..kicked outta bingo. Pretty funny you guys won 200 bucks as it was going on. I had no idea the bingo guard were so rigid with the rules.
