South Point 72-hour sale

That oyster bar has the best clam chowder I've ever eaten. And I'm from Oregon where we have Mo's. At least once on this trip I will have the clam chowder and crab legs.

I also dig the Mexican restaurant simply because they bring you not only chips and salsa when you sit down, but a trifecta of salsa AND bean dip AND guacamole. For freeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

I love that oyster bar. I ate at the prime rib place my last trip. While Lawry's is better, the restaurant is very low priced and the food was very good.
Funbook I received at check in had a coupon for a free cup of soup at the Oyster Bar with purchase of an entrée,I had the New England clam chowder and it was very good.
Never stayed there, always tempted too, though.

I was done with the Strip about 7 years ago. I've stayed at NYNY, Tropicana, Orleans, Palms, Bally's, MGM, and downtown at MSS. I've seen all the sights, done shows and fancy dinners and all that. At this point, I'd rather not have to fight the crowds. I like getting easy comps, I like having a movie theater and a bowling alley right in the hotel. Last time I was there with my friend Scott I literally didn't go outside for 3 days (ok yeah I know that's not healthy). lol

Gonna be the same sort of things this time. First day I'm gonna drink through the alphabet, eat too much Mexican food, play VP until my fingers fall off, and go see American Sniper at midnight. And I deserve every moment of it.
Never stayed there, but we have eaten at the oyster bar a few times and it was great both times. Actually the oyster bar was the sole reason we went to SP. Of xcourse we gambles some while there and I have to say I really like the casino, not too big or small and you can't get lost in it either.
I'll be there in a week for their Super Bowl watching party which is an annual happening for my gang, and then we play Pai Gow Poker after the game traditionally.
