Southern Arizona trip

Arizona has mobile camera's that flag speeders. You'll never see the camera, but the ticket will arrive in short order. They are mounted on top of vans and move frequently.
Speed cameras on the interstate and state highways are a thing of the past. Though cities can still have them as well as red light cameras. Prescott Valley and the Town of Paradise Valley still use speed cameras.

Really? When did they do away with them? I thought I saw them in Febuary and my friends with kids at UofA got a ticket a few weeks ago, although I don't know where.

In July 2010.

Cities can still use photo radar and red light cameras.

I read that. I guess it must have been my previous trip that I saw them on the road from Hoover Dam to Kingman, and then again around Golden Valley. Glad they are gone.
