southpoint and sam's town

my brother and i are all set for super bowl week.

4 nights with 2 rooms at southpoint 2-3 thru 2-7 with 2 nights comped up front with expectation that with our play we will be fully comped..........

then 4 nights with 2 rooms at sam' town 2-7 thru 2-11 completely comped up front with goldcard...

been to sam's town many times but our first trip to southpoint, really looking forward to a different place......

last year posted some royal flush photos and promise to give a trip report this year.

one question: how do you remember all the details of an 8 day trip???

i will possibly enjoy several cocktails and sometimes drinking causes my memory to be fuzzy..........

Since you've been to ST, there's probably not much to tell you about the place. As far as SP, it's a really LARGE casino. The race and sports book have been divided up with plenty of TV screens to watch whatever is on for race or sports. GIANT screens to watch the SB. Don't forget to get some .75c hot dogs from the cart in the book! DELICIOUS!!

We stopped for a while at SP to gamble on our trip in December and I was amazed at the line of people for the hot dogs and the woman was just trying to set up the cart. She hadn't even started selling anything yet. Are they that good or just cheap?

Ace, I'm taking a guess here but by your screen name and where you are staying, I am assuming you are bowling the Mini and High Roller?

I am coming out that time as well, not staying at either place, comped at Harrahs and Wynn a few nights, good luck to you out there on the lanes, and casino obv....

I'll be staying at the South Point for my 4th year in a row. Love the place . My brother is a sports betting junkie and he loves their sports book. He hasn't seen the new work yet .
I know it early for the pool . I think it is closed for construction.

this my 16th trip to vegas.....it all started with the high roller and mini eliminator.

but after 2 knee surgeries it is now a gambling trip for me and my brother.

looking forward to the southpoint for the first time and sam's town for the 12th? time

southpoint is fun. yes it is large. Has a bowling alley upstairs and bingo.
