Wrong. Being rude is fully protected by Free Speech. And if you're going to be supporting a candidate that openly embraces politically incorrect rhetoric then you should try not to be so thin skinned. That is - unless you subscribe to letter "E" on DonDiego's chart of free speech discourse.

I don't think it's a matter of constitutional rights...as these folks have a right to peacefully protest (until they're trespassed). It's a matter of right and wrong. It's wrong for a group to try to suppress the speech of its political opponents....because eventually they'll do the same to your team and then there will be no political speech in public at all. It would be better if they just hold their own political rally.

It's also wrong for the Westboro Baptist Church to protest at funerals, because they are hateful, hurtful, ingrates hiding behind first amendment in order to get publicity. All they care about is themselves...much like those who are interrupting other people's events.

I'd rather fight this out at the ballot box or in the realm of free debate of ideas rather than seeing who can scream louder or make it to the speaker and grab the microphone or who can be the most disruptive or vindictive.

That is not what happened last Friday as the police could not guarantee the safety of Trump. And being rude by shouting down people trying to make a speech of an opposing viewpoint (which is what happens in colleges) is wrong.

It is obvious by all the dancing here, liberals feel this behavior is correct (as long as their guy isn't the victim)

On Sunday, a group of about 40 fellow Trump fans held a rally of support in Beaty’s front yard, calling the incident “domestic terrorism” and blaming Democrats.

“You know, the Democrats state all the time that they are pro-women and pro-middle class, but yet they incite acts of domestic terrorism against a widow [and] small business owner,” said rally organizer and local GOP activist Donna Widawski. “It’s … them and their rhetoric that’s fueling these acts of terrorism. So shame on them...”
