Okay what the hell is a spring fling cornhole tournament?

I went online to confirm that "cornhole" is slang for what I thought it was.

This looks like a good DD event.
We used to call the game bean bag toss or the like. Now it's Cornhole and the sport is big and they even have an Association.

Who wouldda thunk it?

There's nothin' DonDiego likes better'n a game o' corn hole.

Poor old DonDiego is on the red team in this heh' match.
I'm not certain why this bean bag game is called "corn hole" in Indiana, yet it is. For those from California, you can let your minds wander.

Look up "cornhole" on Google and see what the Urban Dictionary and several others have for the definition. Do you know they used to keep a bucket of corn cobs near the outhouse in the south in the old days?

Somebody is having a good laugh.
Somebody took a simple game that has been around for generations added a double entendre to it, and now it is probably the number one bar game in the country.

I'd suggest you don't tell any of the young ladies at the poker bar you want to play cornhole otherwise they might bust you for solicitation.

Folks don't cotton much to cornholin' up heh' on the ridge. But them flatlanders two counties west have crowned these heh' fellas County Cornholin' Champions:

Cornhole the bean bag toss game caught on around these parts years ago, I thought it was a countrywide thing, as DD posted there's even an assc. That's why I was surprised of RM's "ignorance" of it, didn't think you were serious at first roulette man. It's a super simple game that is a fun activity while beer drinking on nice days. Throw in a grill, some type of dead animals to throw on said grill, some of yor best friends, and ,yea, it's a good day.

BTW Actually, as soon as my woodshop is set back up, cornhole boards are one of the things I'll be making
Bags are usually filled with dry corn. You toss 'em in a hole. And the name makes adolescent boys giggle.
