St. Patrick's day in Vegas

Anyone been? Thinking of going this year.

Very fun time of the year.........would be better if the 17th fell on a weekend though

any casino with an Irish bar will be the place to be

I usually head to the Orleans Irish bar and see Killian's Angels

Stop by O'Shea on the strip next to Flamingo.

And punch that drunk elf in the face for me.

Fremont Street has a nice St. Patrick's celebration with a couple Irish bands playing.

I second Freemont St. I had a blast a couple of years ago. There is alot more than usual going on as far as concerts and sideshow things on St Patty's Day.

Last year I signed up on the "Las Vegas For Locals" VIP list (didn't need to be a local), which got me and my girlfriend a wrist-band for a several drink specials, and more importantly, access to the small VIP area in front of each stage where the bands were performing. We saw two. One was more of an Irish rock band, and one played more traditional Irish music (drinking songs) and included authentic Irish bagpipes (as opposed to the Scottish pipes which they also played). Great fun. Lot's of football's full of green beer being sold.

Freemont St sounds like fun! Might have to do a Irish run. Freemont Street first then Orleans and back to the Strip to Nine fine by then we will need to be close to home base. Thanks guys. Vegasnow...I am going to check out Las vegas for locals.

St. Patty's is great at the 9 Fine Irishman, Lots of F.D. Bagpipers and a great time on the bridge. The cover was$20.00 and then went over the bridge to Studio 54 for their St. Patt's gig.

Fremont Street is where i've had the most fun on St Pat's day.
