Stan is still "THE MAN"!!!!

As voted by the fans, his walk-off homer in the 12th inning to end the 1955 game in Milwaukee is the number one All Star Game moment.

Baseball used to be my favorite sport because of athletes like Stan and moments like that. Today's version of baseball can't compare. Looking back, those really were the good old days.
I'm still a sports nut in spite of the "look at me" factor that all the TV cameras (ESPN, FOX, etc) has brought on. Even the umpires are in on the act now. Watch how they call a third strike when Joe Blow (.225 BA) strikes out, and the different way they call one when one of the "Superstars" are at bat. Some of them think they are Leslie Neilson in the "Naked Gun" movie.
