Stan "The Man" Musial

One of the truly great ballplayers of all time passes at age 92.
His life was a feel good story if there ever was one.
No steroids, just talent and a devotion to the game of baseball.
Everybody's a St. Louis Cardinal fan today.

Stan Musial
All of Cardinal Nation is sad today..Now Heaven has Harry,Jack and Stan The Man..
I have his 1959 topps baseball card - one off my favorites.

How would you like to have to pitch to Stan Musial and then turn around and hit against Bob Gibson in the same inning?
Thanks JM

Rick

I met him twice. What a nice person. He signed my 1955 Brooklyn Dodgers Year book. He signed on the picture of the right ffield in Ebbets Field. He said. "I loved that wall'.
My BIL met Stan several times. He has a signed baseball and baseball bat. He's had them for probably 20 years. It's always sad when the good one go. He's in the "Field of Dreams" playing ball with all the boys now.
