Starbucks support

Look like the popular coffee chain is weighing in on the gun issue in their own way.

I am in the PR business and I would be surprised if Starbucks is making a stance on a controversial issue. I would say that no matter what position the company takes on the issue. It is good business to not alienate a segment of your customers. It sounds to me as if Starbucks is abiding by the local laws and others are trying to use Starbucks as a political pawn.

I'm not one to force my political or religious views on others, just my take on the situation with a helicopter view.
I received an email several days ago about Starbucks refusing to send the troops in Afghanistan any coffee. The troops sent a letter to the company stating how much they enjoyed their coffee and asked if they would donate some to the troops. They refused on the grounds they did not support the war so they would donate to it.
Personally,I thought that was pretty low.
BB, that email about Starbucks and not supporting the troops is false. You can check Snopes.

I did not know that.Thanks.

So, there were no grounds for the charges against the coffee company?
Alan, charges were brewing, but the wound up being all foam.

BB, maybe Tully's or Peets originated that email. Lol

It just roasts me to think that some drip probably brewed up that whole story while he was sittin' on the pot.

Ok I'm probably showing my ignorance here but what or who is Tully's or Peets?
I know Peet's is another coffee company and I suppose that Tully's is also.
