Startin' to get a but more upbeat

OK, the anticipation is here, still unemployable but that's OK, and actually getting getting somewhat of a schedule(and I hate schedules, but somewhat necessary) put together where I think we're all going to have a good time. The one thing that's throwing a wrench is is dialysis days, I only know I'm on MWF but no times!, That really sucks because if it's afternnon, that just screws up the day, not only is it 3 hours, but I need to rest a bit afterwards, oh well, it is what it is. Sorry, I digress.

I think I have a pretty entertaing time for our son planned or at least I hope so, I was worried about this, maybe that's the reason for lack of excitement earlier. I'm going to put hin up at circus circus for a couple nights(myvegas game and a couple bucks) with the FnB credit, not a bad deal and he's really excited about it. Mom, not so much . That's Sun and Mon nights, works out well as we'll hook up after dialysis on monday as the clinic is up that way behind the strat afterwards. Monday is also my wife's B-day(oh yea, remember to pack the cialis ) and I was thinking of doing the casa di amore for dinner, I think she'd be really happy with that. I also just received an email from benihana for 30 bucks for her B-day, she digs the japanese steakhouse thing as well...hmmm, decisions decisions.

Grand canyon and hoover dam/lake mead days have to be on T or TH as those are the only fully open days we have for sure. I think we're gonna do the dam Tues. since"A" will be at CC tues morning. Satabellos pizza is on the must do list, we'll hit that somewhere in there, coming or going, don't care.

TENTATIVE schedule now stands as follows.
Lunch at south point for king crab legs Sat. afternoon after landing that morning, kill a few hours at pinball HoF til check in polo towers. "A" really wants to see marc savard so works perfect. Ten o clock sat. night at V theater.
Check him in on Sun. then hang around on N. part of strip, maybe strat. for rest of day, mosey on down to fremont? Pop up pizza was highly recommended and on must do as well.

Other things that are must's (well as best we want to do, vacation is never for killing yourself) and we'll see.

- Orleans Prime rib loft. Menu looks great, tack on king crab legs for ten bucks, I'm there. Also movies, bowling and gambling only thing more to make it great would be cold beer, wait a minute, think they might have that.

-Fremont street at night for sure, A is stoked about the zip line and so is M! Shoot I might even do it.( We ,well me, have always loved rides, used to plan family vacation s around coaster parks. I don't hink there's a coaster on the east coast we haven't hit). Digress again, sorry.

-Mac King, loved that show, I know A will enjoy it, maybe hang out for fat elvis, the shows are close together.

-I would really love to see KA, but that will all depend on how cheap we can score tix.

-Of course Bellagio, fountains, conservatory.

-Ping pang pong and/or monta ramen in chinatown.

I have a list coupla pages long and we can pick and choose the rest of it, if we want to do more we will, or just chill and take it easy.

I have to keep in mind of logistics also because I'm getting a scooter again so whatever parts we go to, it works out better to get everything in while in that part of town. I kinda consider PHo as "home base" since we're right next to it and familiar with it. Plan will still evolve I'm sure.

Any other comments welcome!

Well we can tell you love king crab legs.
The Hoover Dam experience was unforgettable...a best memory nominee LOL.

Have a wonderful, fun, delicious, and trouble free trip!
I stumbled across this while looking for different alternatives to driving to the GC (I absolutely dread long distances anymore). This is something I'm going to keep in mind for later years when time is of less importance. The luxury parlor car looks way cool.

BTW Yes, can you tell I love KC legs and pizza yet? We want to do a good steak house along with Orleans as well. We did Flame at ElCo last time and it was really good, magnolias was pretty good as well. We have to watch the budget tho, which sucks, the travel insurance people STILL haven't returned my calls. Shocked I am

Maybe I can get you a ride on the Silverton houseboat "High Roller" on Lake Mead. If that's what you want to do!

Sounds like nice trip.
The R Steakhouse at the Riv is pretty good and there is an MRB for that as well.
