It would seem that this thread posted to stimulate discussion about possible corrupt behaviors in the State Department has, as many threads do, gone off the rails.

So, just for balance, poor old DonDiego offers another opinion from the esteemed National Review contributor Kevin Williamson:

Detroit represents nothing less than progressivism in its final stage of decadence: Worried that unionized public-sector workers are looting your city? Detroit is already bankrupt, unable to provide basic services expected of it — half the streetlights don’t work, transit has been reduced, neighborhoods go unpatrolled. Worried that public-sector unions are ruining your schools? Detroit’s were ruined a generation or more ago, the results of which are everywhere to be seen in the city. Worried that Obamacare is going to ruin our health-care markets? General-practice physicians are hard to find in Detroit, and those willing to accept Medicaid — which covers a great swath of Detroit’s population — are rarer still. Worried about the permissive culture? Four out of five of Detroit’s children are born out of wedlock. Worried that government is making it difficult for businesses to thrive? Many people in Detroit have to travel miles to find a grocery store. This is the endgame of welfare economics: What good is Medicaid if there are no doctors? What good are food stamps where there is no food? What good are “free” schools if you’re so afraid to send your children there that you feel it prudent to arm them first?
Detroit is what Democrats do . . . . .

Mr. Wiliamson seems to be an angry young man. Perhaps his anger is justified.

And, . . . . .perhaps there is a link between "the white American underclass", the disintegration of Detroit, and The Hillary's Information Technology Guy in the State Department.

Perhaps the link is corruption.
I was so shocked to learn that the State Department can't find this information, that it left me speechless for some time.

Based upon what exactly?

DonDiego has as much evidence of "corrupt behaviors in the State department " as Donald Trump has evidence of Obama's African birth certificate.

it is amazing that so many emails associated with democrat corruption disappear
Wow, it surprised me too. Some on here talk about the length of this investigation, yet they never question how the Justice Department can't produce the requested records after years of searching.

Based upon what exactly?

State Department's spokeswoman Elizabeth Trudeau has reported that The State Department has located archived emails of Bryan Pagliano, but that all emails sent or received from May 1, 2009, to Feb. 1, 2013, are missing. [Mr. Pagliano Pagliano was paid by Clinton’s Senate leadership PAC through April 2009. The Hillary departed the State Department on February 1 2013.]

n.b.By Law all such correspondence, if any, must be retained by the State Department.

Poor old DonDiego finds it, . . . umm, . . . highly unlikely that "The Hillary Guy" in the State Department Information Technology Office would not have sent a single e-mail during his employment while The Hillary was Secretary of State.

Of course a significant number of The Hillary's e-mails on her private server were, umm, . . . deselected before The Hillary turned over those records deemed appropriate for public release. All of the deselected records apparently concerned personal correspondence, . . .like trading soufflé recipes and such, . . . so it would have been inappropriate if The Hillary had "deselected" correspondence with Mr. Pagliano, if any.

This unusual circumstance may be connected somehow to the fact that Mr. Pagliano was, in fact, a political appointment. F'rinstance, although working in the IT Office Mr. Pagliano was not under the direct supervision of IT Office superiors.
And they may be connected to the fact that it was Mr. Pagliano who set up The Hillary's basement server.

Or, it may all be coincidence.

I'm still shocked that this trustworthy and honest organization, the Justice Department, can't find these records. Apparently this is simply an unfortunate and innocent oversight.

Hillary Rakes in Nearly $75,000 From Justice Department Employees
There is no question that the Justice Department is corrupt. I suspect, however, that the FBI will do their job in such a thorough way that the evidence will back the JD into a corner. They will be forced to indict Hillary.
