Well, gays have been around since the dawn of mankind and haven't gone away. I tend to think its a genetic thing, however I only have a 2 family members to use as examples. (a sister and a cousin).

The ad thingy is going to be a stretch as a group, the LGBT community doesn't quite have the numbers to influence advertisers as a strong block for typically hetrosexual buyers of wedding rings.

While I could care less what Adam and Steve do in the privacy of their bedroom, I don't want to it be on Prime time TV and be told that such attitude is "mainstream". Otherwise, the world would have more of the homosexuals than hetrosexuals around. Kind of messes up the procreation decree some deity stated...
