Stations Take Proactive Approach

Sue I stay over at the South Point. I do rent a car , Think I will have to take the 30 mile ride and check out The Alliante this year. Already have a Boarding Pass from Sunset Station. Hope the slots are loose in April.
Thanks Sue. I think we should be applauding Stations for their pro-active stance toward the client.

Palazzo/V did very well by that one publizied episode, and got the good press as they deserved, but unfortunately so far they have not been exposed for their lack of heart in the many instances that have occurred when they rescinded the offers to many loyal clients at short notice.
V/P went from having one of the best comps ever ............... to having the worst. Can't wait to see how this plays out.

First of all Sue I was not talking about Alliante I was talking about Red Rock. I really like Alliante and have always had very good service. The buffet is fantastic. Drink service on the floor is great. I will however try Red Rock again in the near future and see if there is any difference. I think the place is too big for them to have good drink service everywhere on the floor. The time I was talking about though was on a weekend morning with virtually nobody in the place. I literally waited an hour and never saw a waitress. The prices at the bar are certainly not in line with a local place.

I knew you were talking about Red Rock. I'm only saying that they've hired lots of new people -- in fact, I believe Red Rock hired the most among all the properties -- so hopefully drink service will have improved. And I don't know anything about drink prices at the bars, since I've never paid for a drink. I put $20 in a video poker machine and get my drinks comped, lol.
That's when u can get a waitress. I do the same and still wind up paying at the bar.
I rarely drink when I gamble, but I see waitresses coming around wherever I go (locals joints). Of course if I really wanted a drink, I'm sure that would not be the case. As to buying drinks at the bar, if you're getting a drinks and a beer for $10, that's not bad. I drink Dewars and sometimes Bombay. About the cheapest I find either is $7 a piece in a locals place unless some kind of a special is going on. Remember, that drink you buy at the bar may be the cheapest drink you get in a casino!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good Luck!

I like Stations-except for the resort fees which should be banned by the legislature.
My suggestion to Stations would be to put 97% chips in EVERY slot machine and they will scoop up the locals market like a vacum cleaner.
When I went to school 3% of something was a whole lot more than 10% of nothing.
I've got a personal beef with Stations casinos right now.

I am proud to say that NONE of my gambling dollars have gone into ANY Stations machines in the past 8 months.

I hope to continue this trend, for as long as humanly possible!

Maybe stations will get smart and return the service of having a shuttle bus service between it's casino's.
That was ended years ago, pretty dumb idea !!
