Stations Take Proactive Approach

I love playing at Aliante and at Red rock.
Too bad I only get offers
Now from Aliante. They just changed my
Husband to Aiante also. Points and promotions
Can be used at all stations, but now our
offers (multipliers for points, free play, food offers, etc)
only come from
Aliante. So if we get for instance, a BOGO for
The buffet in our monthly flyer it can only be
used at Aliante.

Glad to see they hired more people.

Funny thing I got an email from Gold
Coast casino today and the subject line was" we love seniors"
Sorry for the typing. I have a hard time with this phone's keyboard
was "We LOVE seniors".
Hi, Wanda. Aliante offers are stand-alone, separate from the other properties. (GVR's are also separate.) The other 6 Stations (Red Rock, Palace, Texas, Sunset, Boulder, and Santa Fe) are considered the "multi-property" group, and offers from any of them are good at all 6 of them, but not at Aliante or GVR.

Your monthly mailers will come from either Aliante OR the multi-properties, but not both. It's based on where you did the most play 2 months ago (the month the current mailers are based on). Since you've been living in the neighborhood, your play at Aliante probably increased, while your play at Red Rock decreased.

I wish they could combine them all into one group, but I think it has something to do with the "ownership" of Aliante and GVR being different from the others.
Hi Sue
So I now know why they made us an "Aliante" player. When we first got back
from being in Michigan for 6 months (we do this every year)
I was getting my offers from Aliante and my husband was getting them
from "the multiple properties" So when we went to Aliante we played on
just my card and when we went to the multiple properties we played on
his card and then in Jan (I believe it was then) they switched my husband
to Aliante "only" He must have used his card at Aliante too.
My problem with it is that we did not ask them to do
this and no one tells you when it is being done and when they change you
from one to the other it takes about 2-3 months to get what you were
getting from the property you were getting the offers from. Make any sense?

Question: Do they have a snowbird program where we can freeze where we left
off in May and when we come back they will start us up as we were never gone.
Right now, they give us offers based on the last 3 months, I believe. So when we play
in Feb, Mar, and Apr and leave in May the offers keep coming but we are not there.
We have changed our address but when we come back in Nov, we have to wait 3 months
to get any decent offers.

I do miss going to Red Rock as I really liked that property and my son lives
out there. Aliante is very close but why would they limit us to just going there?

We have been going to other places, like the M (I really love it there) and the
Silverton and South point because they send us great offers.
We would be going to the stations casinos but they give us no reason to go there.
We do not want to be limited to just Aliante.

The car promotion is a good one and I like the fact that you do not need
to be present as I like to be home at 8:15 to watch my tv shows

The customer service has improved and the drink ladies have been coming
by a lot more than before they did the hiring at Aliante. They badly needed to hire
more of them. Same for the Rewards Center. You are the voice of the company
as far as letting us know what is being offered to us. Keep up the good work. You are a great
Ambassador for company.

Sue . i notice Rizzo is not a big fan of Stations . I know you have been supportive of him on a few posts. I think it was a Bags thread. We all know how much Rizzo and Bags care for each other.
Maybe Rizzo can tell us what happened .
Just a thought . I know you guys are real Vegas people. Not like us visitors.

I am not at liberty to discuss what happened to me with Stations casinos.

Its a personal issue, not one that will affect any other players, games, or promotions.

The issue was mostly my fault, but the way they treated a recently turned President card holder (225K coin in 90 days) was just not right!

All I can say is they did me wrong, and I won't patronize them anymore because of it.

There is nothing Sue can do about it, so don't worry too much about it.

I am now giving all of my play to Silverton, M-resort, Gold Coast, Orleans, Palms and Southpoint...no where else.

I am not worried...its all good.

I realize that I am just a small fish in a large pond

I agree that I have a hate/hate relationship with Stations too. Over the years, they have frequently had many customer service issues, never valued my play, never offered nearly the equivalent of offers from other places that I play severely less. Their customer service is the worst! I do get sucked back in, but have taken several breaks from them because I do have accumulated points and I do hit there (but also play there the most, but it does get dried up too at times).

Once again, just recently had an episode with a very sour and insulting bj dealer. I was trying to enjoy an afternoon with my mom visiting. Very embarrassing, as was our whole visit there that day. I actually wrote down the GM's number to make an appt, but why waste my time. I have sent email after email, spoken to people on the phone and nothing has ever happened except a "sorry to hear that", no change in staffing issues, no compensation, nothingness. This is Stations customer service, time after time, year after year. I have at times also boycotted them and literally walked in and out using promos only and not spending one dime of my money. So much so, that we eventually got "we want you back promos". They were still nothing exciting though and still well below any offers of other places that barely get any of my business.

Ha and Sue, if you work at Aliante desk, I hope to God that it isn't as bad as Sunset's that is horrible. Nothing but elderly, slow folks that cannot complete a transaction without assisting each other and taking a regroup break between each customer. They never directly call the next customer waiting....EVER! I really wish they would put back in the card printers, so that I never needed to wait at desk or when they have dumb promos that need to be hand entered, ugh.

All in all, I really wish Stations didn't monopolize the locals market and that the strip casinos treated locals better. I would actually go down there more often if they didn't neglect locals so much. My mom has status at HET and I have actually hit a lot the last few times I have stayed down there with her.

Hmm, all of this makes me want to make that appointment with the GM, but I know nothing will change. I really do hate Stations, I guess. I could write for days the amount of issues I have/have had with them.
I guess because of the fact you guys ( Rizzo andDaisybasket)are locals you are more prone to the treatment that would turn you off. I only make it out once a year and I love to try different casinos. South Point and Orleans are amongst my favorites. Sunset Station and Siverton make my next list.
I am going to give Alliante a shot this year.
Thanks for your explanation ,Rizzo.
As the Heading of this thread says.

Maybe with all the negative feedback Stations is taking a proactive approach to get you people back. Change can be good and profitable. It is dependent on the players forgiving the casinos for the poor business practice over the years. It appears some of the players here are not willing to forgive.
Daisybasket, I believe you'd be pleased with the service at the Aliante rewards center. We are fast, efficient, and extremely friendly. No "breaks" between guests, either, lol.

Wanda, I can't argue with you about the system that encourages you to play only at Aliante. That's just the way it is. They have us competing with our sister casinos, and you're not alone in complaining about it. Your mailers are based on your play 2 months back. So your March mailer will be based on where you played in January. And there is no "snowbird" program, unfortunately.
