Step right up, folks!

I remember taking our son who was prob 6 or so to kings dominion one time and he wanted to play the game where you had to land a wiffle ball on one of the red holes cut out on a lrge wooden table that had a couple hundred holes. There was some guy playing trying ot win his girlfriend a prize who had been playing for quite a while and our son stepped up, threw a ball and sure enough landed on the red hole. The other guy was absolutely flabbergasted, couldn't beleive it.

Hmm, . . . DonDiego wonders one might happen if he started hanging around the elementary school looking for a pick-up poker game.
He is most unlikely to challenge a young student to arm-wrestling. Some of them tykes can be stronger than they look.

Hmm, me thinks that once DD takes the kids lunch money some upset parent will show up. Accusing DD of being a sexual predator. Then DD will have to talk his "cellmates" into a pick-up game of poker.

DD stay clear of the playground
I read about a guy that used to go to Vegas, rent a cargo van, and head over to Circus Circus to win giant stuffed animals. The guy is the world's greatest carnival game player. He'll take on anybody.

I have 3 "carnival glass" items. 2 bowls and a vase. They are from the 60's and really cool.
Oh, Goodness!

The 60's ! ! !

That is so old.
1/2 a century.

wait, that was his LIFE SAVINGS? what grown adult person's life savings total $2600?
I'd be willing to bet that wasn't his "life savings." Guys like that don't have any life savings whatsoever. It was probably from a windfall of some sort; insurance payout, gambling winnings, or the like. And if the carny hadn't taken the money, others would have, and quite soon.

Someone once told me "When you find a grape, squeeze it. If you don't, the next guy will." I don't live my life like that, but I can understand the sentiment.
