STOP the Royal Flush MADNESS !!!

May favorite royal I ever witnessed was a couple probably in their 70's sitting at a 100 play machine...

They were dealt a royal!

They were playing.....

They applauded and cheered like they won a million dollars.

Enjoy that $2.50
We're not 70 yet but that would be my wife and me. It's all about having fun.

I agree... If you can't have fun while your playing you shouldn't bother.

But, if I hit a royal with the absolute minimum bet, I dunno what I would do.
I know what I did. I took a picture.

Bring back Singer! But then again he's retired from Vp play!
Isn't that $250? 100 x $2.50.
2011 has started out quite well so far;

7 nickel royals (thanks to the 50-play machines); 1 quarter Royal and 1 fifty cent royal.

2011 currently stands at a +$2100.
MissL... you missed what slapinfunk posted.... this couple played ONE PENNY on ONE LINE and they were dealt a royal.
One penny, One line, 250 credits = $2.50 not even TREE FIDDY!!!
Meanwhile, I bet that couple had just as much fun winning their $2.49 profit on that hand as many other casino patrons that day. Maybe even had a few cocktails along the way. To them, it was a "date", a time out to have fun, and I think it's a terrific thing.

There was an article in a poker magazine years ago about Bill Gates playing poker in Las Vegas. He chose the smallest limit game available and played for hours.

Many people can, and do have fun without putting a lot of money at risk.

There is absolutely no reason to belittle them for not play max coins, etc. It's all supposed to be about fun.

And when it ceases to be fun, it's time to quit.

To those who lose, or have lost thousands, I ask, "Was it fun?" Really?

Sure, your can afford the loss. But was that loss really "fun"?
